Lesson 2
Eternal Security
Previous Lesson
| Index | Next Lesson
The phrase eternal security means that the person who has put his trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, can never lose that salvation. For in Jesus Christ God promises us eternal life.
In this lesson on eternal security we will bring forth Biblical evidence of this truth.
According to the Bible, it is by God's grace that we are saved through faith in His Son (Ephesians 2:8-9). We can be certain, that once we are saved, we will never lose it because
it rests
solely on the work of God apart from any effort by man.
Just as man cannot work his way to heaven, once he is saved he cannot do anything to lose it.
